Beached, Percussion Ensemble for 10 Players

Beached

Percussion Ensemble for 10 Players

Composed by Eric C W Peel

Moderate  ·  5 minutes, 45s

$40.00

The piece starts out on a home land mass and ends on a less familiar one. Oppossing sticking in the marimbas makes it possible to achieve a constant pulsing 8th-note sound throughout the entire piece. This serves as the foundation.

Various sections of the piece are connected via long, fading transitions of varying styles and feels. And the flowing sound of the ocean drum is sure to put your audience into a calming environment of beaches and waves.

Full instrumentation is listed below. Need a different arrangement? See here.
